She arrived at Athens Elliniko airport from London on March 26th, 1969. In her hands she held a small, hurt snail. And from there, always holding the little snail tightly protected in her hand, she went to Matala. A place where she had been promised she would find a paradise of nature. A paradise for hippies. In Matala, the paradise of freedom. It was also paradise for Jonnie Mitchell and for Harry. Pre-eminently for Harry.. She remained there until May ’69, waiting, along with hippies from all over the word, the summer of love. But that summer never came… for that May what happened, happened.
Penelope Kourtzi’s novel tells of a girl who believed that the greatest freedom of the heart is to love and be loved, and, about a boy who couldn’t fall in love. It is about Matala, the most carefree beach in the world… a beach under the unique Cretan sun, with the African wind blowing across the Libyan Sea and taking along with it all of society’s small-minded apprehensions and affairs.

In order to return one or more products, you have to make sure they are inside their original packaging in perfect condition, without any of their special labels (tags) removed. The product(s) should necessarily be accompanied by the sales receipt, as well as the completed special return note, which you can find inside the packaging of your order. You can make an exchange or ask for a refund.
We undertake the cost of return if you have received an incorrect or a defective product. Otherwise you are charged with the cost of return.

Due to hygiene reasons, we do not offer any refunds or accept any returns on beauty products, earrings, underwear (slips), shapewear, scented candles & reed diffusers. All swimwear products must be returned in their initial package with their tags and the security seal (sticker) must not be removed if you might want to return an item.
